How to choose your billiard cue?

There are 4 types of billiard cues, corresponding to these different disciplines:

Carom cues
Pool cues
8 Pool or Blackball cues
Snooker cues

For each discipline, the criteria differs: length, weight, tip’s diameter, etc. To maximize your success it is best to select the correct cue.

You wouldn't choose a tennis racket to play badminton, the same goes for billiard!
